Independence Day Videos

It was our great freedom fighters' undying spirit, bravery and undaunted courage that freed ‘Bharat Mata’ from the clutches of the ‘British Raj’. We have become free from Britishers but did we really achieve the freedom that our freedom fighters had dreamt of? Is our country any close to their dreams of India?

Many people have tried to answer such questions. Lets search for these answers in some of the wonderful videos presented below.

  • Vande Mataram - Lata Mangeshkar

This is my favorite patriotic song. Amazing lyrics topped with the magical voice of Lata makes this the most purifying and thrilling song. The energy and enthusiasm displayed in the video to take our country forward is quite infectious. It says 'WE' are India's future and 'WE' will overcome all obstacles in the path of making it a proud country.

  • Indian Independence Movement - Ai Mere Vatan Ke Logon

A journey through the Indian Independence movement, this video is a tribute to the heroes of our freedom struggle. It covers the Independence movement right from the time British set foot in India to the year 1947 when India got its freedom finally after a long, excruciating battle. The song that runs in the background was famously performed live by Lata Mangeshkar in the presence of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru at the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi on Republic Day (26 January) 1963, just two months after the end of the Sino-Indian war. According to legend, Nehru was moved to tears by the song.

  • Buiding India Of Our Dreams

A nice presentation on how we, as an individual, can contribute towards building a better India. With very specific action points, this presentation is a call to start working on self as well as social refinement. It shows us how to 'be the change' we want to see in our society and nation. The last slides feature some living examples of ordinary people doing extra-ordinary work which makes them our 'real hero'. Rightly said in the presentation "Heroism is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost but the urge to serve others at whatever cost"

  • Tum Chalo to Hindustan Chale (तुम चलो तो हिंदुस्तान चले)

A fresh, creative and inspiring ad which says ‘I’ need to make the beginning... 'I' have the power to change..
