Stop Child Sexual Abuse

There has been a lot of discussion recently around the topic of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) in the context of the rising incidents of CSA. One thing that is clear in all discussions is that child awareness is the topmost requirement to stop CSA. There are many resources on internet which aim to generate awareness on this issue.

When it comes to Child Sexual Abuse prevention, the best thing to do is to empower the child. Parents should open up with the child on CSA. Many parents feel uncomfortable talking straight to their kids on this topic and don't know how to start. This video comes as a great help in such cases. A really informative show.

  • My Body Belongs To Me

An animated film which shows how an empowered child reacted to CSA. He knew what's happening is wrong and hence ran away without any second thoughts, he knew the vocablury to communicate what happened, he knew he would be believed by his parents. This empowerment is essential to stop CSA. Children need to know that they themselves are their first protectors and they should respond to abusive situations with all the confidence and strength they can muster.
