बाल दल सजा रहे

सामने पहाड़ हो
सिंह की दहाड़ हो
तुम निडर,हटो नहीं
तुम निडर,डटो वहीं

वीर तुम बढ़े चलो
धीर तुम बढ़े चलो

प्रात हो कि रात हो
संग हो न साथ हो
सूर्य से बढ़े चलो
चन्द्र से बढ़े चलो

वीर तुम बढ़े चलो
धीर तुम बढ़े चलो

एक ध्वज लिये हुए
एक प्रण किये हुए
मातृ भूमि के लिये
पितृ भूमि के लिये
वीर तुम बढ़े चलो

अन्न भूमि में भरा
वारि भूमि में भरा
यत्न कर निकाल लो
रत्न भर निकाल लो

I also thought so while typing it some time back, but the text said 'डटो नहीं' (my reference may be wrong though). Also 'डटो नहीं' goes well with poet's theme of 'बढ़े चलो'

If it was 'dato nahin' it would mean don't hold your ground there dato vahin means hold your ground there. So 'dato nahin' is exactly the opposite of what the poet wanted to say. Also, this poem is in CBSE curriculum, I don't remember for which grade but I am sure that it is 'dato vahin'.
